Emmerdale aired some dramatic scenes this week – including a bike crash, an attack and a split for a longstanding couple. As well as some drama for the Dingles and Tates, speculation is growing around John Sugden.

John killed Nate and also is responsible for other horrifying events in the village – but is someone finally onto him and have they just made things even more dangerous for the village or themselves?

The Mirror takes a look back at what you missed this week on Emmerdale.

Monday

There was no episode on Monday owing to the football match between Burnley and Sheffield, but an hour episode of Emmerdale was instead broadcasted on the Tuesday, meaning fans didn’t lose out on their favourite soap.

Tuesday

A bumper double episode of Emmerdale aired on Tuesday, with Billy left confused when Mackenzie seemingly hinted that Dawn could be having an affair. Of course, we know she has been sleeping with Joe Tate but Mack alludes it could be Ross.

Ross and Billy argued over the truth after he confronted Ross about his suspicions, but Clemmie heard the comments and when Billy tried to comfort her, she didn’t want to be around him. It was then Billy knew he had got it wrong. He struggled with his feelings, seeking solace in friend Joe – with Joe left feeling guilty knowing he is to blame for Billy’s heartache.

Meanwhile, Caleb and Joe’s feud continued to escalate – only made worse when Joe came by to gloat at Caleb. Kim has been adamant to stop the feud, alongside Cain, so they called both Caleb and Joe to Home Farm to discuss. Kim offered Caleb the land surrounding the depot as a way of ending the feud for them – but it is clear Kim has another plan.

Victoria also found out more than she wanted this week when she met up with John’s friend Connor. As they chatted about John, Victoria was stunned to find out that Aidan is actually alive and in a coma in hospital. Victoria later confronted John about the truth – but did she put herself in more danger by getting closer to the truth?

Wednesday

Wednesday’s episode of Emmerdale saw Billy apologise to Ross for what happened between them and after a chat, Billy decided to head back to Home Farm to try and smooth things over with Dawn. Dawn and Billy decided they needed to tell the kids about the split and they sat down and said to Clemmie and Lucas about their separation.

Also on Wednesday, Sarah was left fuming at Jacob and Kammy over their dirt bike race and warned Kammy that it would be it for them if he went ahead with the race. Kammy, though, is adamant and both decide to continue.

Thursday

On Thursday, the village prepared for the race with Cain arriving to support Kammy, leaving Charity frustrated. As the race began, Kammy was in the lead but after finding himself facing an obstacle, he slipped behind.

Jacob ended up crashing when he tried to get ahead on Devil’s Leap. Kammy won the race but when he returned to the start line, Sarah’s anger was clear and he realised it didn’t all go how he had planned.

Meanwhile, Vinny told Gabby he didn’t want to be a dad – but what is really going on?

Friday

On Friday night, Liam is found knocked out by a panicked Mack as Chas and Aaron rushed over to see what had happened. Liam has had found himself in the wars in the past few weeks – and this seems to be another bad time for the doctor.
