Reuben Owen has issued an update on his eight siblings, who all soared to fame on Our Yorkshire Farm.

The 21-year-old farmer, who now stars in his own show Life in the Dales, joined Alan Titchmarsh on Sunday’s Love Your Weekend to reminisce about life on the family farm.

Our Yorkshire Farm, which launched in 2018, followed the life on a remote sheep farm in Yorkshire for Clive and Amanda Owen and their nine children. The documentary series concluded in 2022 after the divorce of Amanda and Clive.

Despite the end of Our Yorkshire Farm, Amanda has remained in the spotlight with appearances on shows like Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives and Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, and she’s also featured in Reuben’s Life in the Dales.

Talking to host Alan, 75, Reuben was quizzed about what his eight siblings are up to following the end of Our Yorkshire Farm.

Amanda and Clive share nine kids – Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy.

Alan asked: “Now we need to catch up a bit, don’t we, is Raven still at uni?” to which Reuben replied: “Yeah, Raven’s at uni she’s getting towards the end of her time at uni and she’s working in the lab at the minute!”

Host Alan then quizzed: “And the other siblings?” to which Reuben responded: “The other siblings, Miles is farming, he comes and drives diggers for us when he’s got a spare few hours!”

He added: “So Edith, she’s at college at the minute and Violet’s still at school. Sid, Annas, they’re still farming, Sid helps me a bit when he’s not at school, and the little ones are just causing havoc at home!”

Elsewhere during the chat, Alan asked: “Did it feel idyllic when you were growing up or were there times where it was… well it was obviously a hard graft at times I guess!”

Reuben responded with a mix of nostalgia and humour: “It had its times where it was hard but overall an amazing place to live and grow up, I’ve had some great times there.”

However, he couldn’t resist a playful jab at the less-than-perfect weather as he quipped: “I think the worst thing about it is the weather!”

Nevertheless, he affirmed: “Other than that, it was a brilliant place to grow up!”

Reflecting on his early brush with fame and the constant presence of camera crews, Reuben acknowledged: “I’ve kind of known it since I was very young and it’s brought all sorts of opportunities.

“So I’ve always kind of enjoyed doing it! It seems whenever anything goes wrong, a camera turns up!”

Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh continues on Sundays on ITV and ITV X.
