In Jodhaa Akbar, Sonu Sood played Aishwarya Rai’s protective brother. Recently, he shared that during filming, Aishwarya paused a scene and remarked that he reminded her of her father, Amitabh Bachchan.
In an interview with Mashable India, Sonu recalled a moment during filming when Aishwarya paused a scene and mentioned that he reminded her of her father, Amitabh Bachchan. He described Aishwarya as a sweet co-star and shared a strong bond with her and her family. He mentioned his past work with Abhishek Bachchan in Yuvaa and Happy New Year, and with Amitabh in Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, highlighting their fun and great rapport.
On Kaun Banega Crorepati, Sonu shared a humorous story about his trip to Egypt, where people mistook him for Abhishek Bachchan. He said they assumed he was Amitabh Bachchan’s son, which led to VVIP treatment, including being taken out of the line separately, making him feel special.
In the same episode, the actor also shared how nervous he was while filming a scene in Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap. He played a police officer who had to push Amitabh’s character. Sonu initially hesitated, but Bachchan encouraged him to push harder, and with newfound courage, the scene turned out well.
